I received the following email from the Maui Reunion Committee to post here. Please consider the information carefully and share your responses here.

Aloha Ohana,  As discussed at our Maui Reunion, some families have expressed having our next reunion in the mainland. California, Alaska, Las Vegas, Arizona, and even a boat cruize was suggested. With 2011 set for Moloka'i, we would like to begin the process for 2013. This could end up being rather huge and costly, but if we begin planning now we will be better prepared. So the questions are: (1) Where do we go, and (2) who do we elect to oversee this?  When we gather on Moloka'i the plans will be presented and we hope to have a new committee in place for 2013.
